The Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Services offers a benefit to veterans with little income, called Chapter 115 benefits, which can help pay for daily living expenses, medical costs, housing, and other necessities. The Executive Office of Veterans Services also offers an annuity to certain disabled veterans, parents of a deceased veteran, and the unmarried spouses of deceased veterans.
