EXCITING NEWS!
We are happy to share that starting November 3rd, both floors of the new Community Center will be open for use! This decision comes after polling more than 100 seniors whose feedback was instrumental in guiding this choice. The main entrance will be on the lower level, and we encourage everyone to enter through this door, regardless of where their program is taking place. However, if you have limited mobility and are unable to use the stairs, you may still use the front entrance to access the second floor.
While the elevator construction is still in progress, both floors will be fully accessible in accordance with ADA regulations. To help you plan your visit, program descriptions in the Gem have been updated to indicate which floor each program is located on. Look out for the UL (Upper Level) or LL (Lower Level) notes for every program taking place after 11/3. We can’t wait to see you enjoying all that the Community Center has to offer!
To facilitate this change, our offices will be closed on 10/31, BUT the regularly scheduled programs will still occur. Please join us for a small ribbon cutting of our lower level at 9 a.m. on November 3rd.
