This Friday in Foxborough will be one to remember. A month ago, two Army helicopters from the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade stationed out of Fort Drum, NY landed at the Foxborough High school. The static display entailed the helicopters landing, providing time for students to explore the helicopters, and interact with the pilots, crew chiefs, and medics. Now it's your turn! On Friday, December 8th, the day before America's Game, the birds will fly into Foxborough and land at the Booth Recreation Complex, 80 South Street at 10:30 am and fly out at 2:30pm. The public is invited and welcome to explore the helicopters and interact with the crew. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity right here in Foxborough. This event is in conjunction with the West Point Marathon Team running the game ball up West Street to Mill Street then up South Street, onto the Town Common where they will stop for pictures with the runners and the game ball before they head off to Gillette Stadium. Arrival time is expected to be 1pm. Our local Boy Scout Troops will be place flags around town and the Foxborough Fire ladder truck will be proudly display the American flag. Tell your neighbors, tell your friends, and anyone who wants to support the event. Whichever team you are rooting for, this is not to be missed!
