The Dept. of Public Works (DPW) Water & Sewer Division recently mailed letters to consumers whose five-year average water consumption ranks within the top 25% of residential users. On average, consumers used 8,673 cubic feet, or 64,881 gallons, of water during the last fiscal year (July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024).
These letters are part of Foxborough’s Water Management Act Permit requirements, which mandate promoting water conservation through consumer outreach. While Foxborough currently faces no supply issues and remains in compliance with all performance standards, conserving water helps reduce expenses for residents and protects our natural resources.
