About Us:
The Land Use and Economic Development Department helps guide responsible growth while supporting a strong local economy. The department works on planning, zoning, development review, housing, transportation, and long-range planning, while also helping attract and support businesses, encourage investment, and strengthen commercial areas. Staff work with residents, businesses, property owners, and developers to help create opportunities that support the community’s long-term goals.
The Planning Board works closely with department staff to review development proposals, consider zoning changes, and help shape long-term land use policies and plans.
