Sidewalk Masterplan Initiative 

The Town has received input from residents and stakeholders regarding the under investment in sidewalk infrastructure in our community, as evidenced by recent public petition articles submitted at Open Town Meeting. Currently, Foxborough is reliant on the state Chapter 90 program alone as its primary funding source for roads and sidewalks.  This allocation is insufficient and  has been relatively stagnant for the past ten years as prices have steadily increased.  Additional funding is necessary to prevent the continued degradation of our transportation infrastructure and this effort seeks to find a long term solution to this issue.
